Farm Visits

Our sustainability officer André Steuer used the summer time to visit six farms in the region. The aim was to find new sustainable cooperation partners for our in-house catering. The contact was established through our network partner, Regionalwert AG. The focus was on farms and producers where, in addition to organic farming, biodiversity plays a major role.

As a result of the visits, three new suppliers were added to our portfolio. Together with them, our head chef Wolfgang Keller is currently drawing up a cultivation plan for 2023 in order to ensure a guaranteed supply of produce for the entire year. With our involvement in Regionalwert AG, we support regional businesses along the entire value chain. The result: added value, jobs, farms and good food stay in the region and more land is farmed organically.

And our event guests appreciate that, too. Because sustainability is not a trend but the basis for our future.
