Our heart beats for personal encounters
The atrium covered completely in red and the sound of a beating heart from inside the plenum: this was the scenario that awaited over 200 guests at AXICA on the evening of September 10th. The background of a cardiology conference gave us the possibility to stage the Plenum - which as a sculpture already resembles a heart - with light and sound effects to get the participants in the mood for the event's topic.
With its matching shapes and colors, AXICA provided the perfect ambience for the festive dinner and the scientific conference the following day. We used the entire lower premises for the event according to the current hygiene regulations for events. Finally, a live event this size was possible again since the outbrake of the pandemic and the guests were able to exchange ideas face-to-face. Further participants around the world could join the online-streamed conference.
The AXICA project manager Martina Göttler developed the concept with the beating heart together with the executing agency and was very happy with the spectacular outcome.
